Edwardsville's Wildey Theatre turns 100 years old | Belleville News-Democrat. I remember going to see movies at this theater when it was still in operation. I believe I saw Star Wars there for the first time. It was a nice theater in its time. I wish they could restore it and open it back up.

Bill Clinton to campaign in Edwardsville for Hillary | BND.com. Tomorrow will be an exciting day at work. I will have to get up early to try and avoid this mess. I would like to be in my office by 7:30 am so that I can try and avoid the "Men in Black". I will try and take some pictures if it is not too much of a mad house.

Edwardsville OKs $9 million retail, housing project | Belleville.com. Looks like the old Dino's market and PK's restaurant will be torn down and some new shopping and housing will go up. This sounds like a great plan. I hope that it will be completed and turn out well.

Renovated Columbus School gets high marks at open house. I spent five years of grade school in this school. I can tell you first hand that it was in dire need of renovations. For as long as I can remember the third floor of this building was condemned. It is the oldest school in the district and I am very glad that they have given it some attention.

Storms cut power, snap trees, topple trucks across region | STLtoday. Last night was one of the worst storms in history in our are. I remember a tornado that hit Edwardsville when I was little and this was just as bad as that. Below is a picture of the radar as it had just moved past our house. I still have no power at home and do not know when it will be restored. It is very hot at home today and I was glad I could come to work.

Ran across this website today AC Grassi. It claims, "Welcome to the St. Louis Home of Premier World Futbol on TV." This is good news for those of us in the St. Louis area who love to watch the games. I am planning on trying to catch the game out somewhere tomorrow. It will be broadcast on Fox Sports World. I may visit Krieger's in Edwardsville, if they are showing the game.
