I broke out the CueCat today. I am trying to start a new project to catalog all my DVDs so I can know what I have. I can not believe the amount that I have already accumulated. Amber and I sold all of our VHS about three years ago. Since then we have slowly been buying and receiving DVDs we wanted. So I searched the web and came across two PHP apps that do catalogs, OpenDB and VCD-db. I think I am going to try OpenDB first. Here are some more links for info on the Cuecat. I have modified one of mine so it is a plain barcode reader.

The Secret Diary of Steve Jobs: These videos of kids using iPhone always make me cry. This is an amazing video. Kids today will have a completely different grasp of technology then we can imagine. I remember the first time I sat in front of my Apple II. It was quite an experience. We can only wait and see what and how these children will change and shape our future technology.

MPAA's 'University Toolkit' Taken Down For Violating Copyright | Gizmodo. This is the funniest story I have read in a long time. I hope the MPAA starts to get a clue and backs off everyone downloading.
