Yesterday I went over to my parents house and visitied with my aunt and uncle who came down for my Dad's birthday. My father turns 70 on Monday. It was nice to see them and we had fun. While I was over there I was able to get our old Ford 8n tractor runnning. YES! I am so excited about having a tractor now at our house. Of course, mine does not look as good as that picture. I have lots to do still. It needs all new fluids in it and some painting and cleaning. I plan next weekend on having a friend help me haul it to our house. I will keep you updated.

I just returned from River Splash. I went down with Sara to see Liz Phair. She ROCKS! It was a great concert. She played a straight set and was changing the set order on the fly to fit the mood. Then she got down and kicked off her shoes. I have to admit I have a little crush on her. Well I am glad I did not miss it. It was the best concert I have seen in a long time.

Last night Sara and I attended River Splash, part of Celebrate 2004, at the Arch grounds in St. Louis, MO. Eve 6 was headlining the concert and apparently it is their last. Anyway it was a good show. They played all the hits and came back out for an encore of two songs. It rocked, or in the words of Paris Hilton, "That's HOT." It was hot, temperature wise, out there.
After the show there was a water/laser/fireworks spectacular. That was pretty neat. They tied the 1904 and 2004 themes together and played some old and new hits. One would have to see it to truly understand. I would suggest anyone interested head out and take a peek. There will be free concerts and shows all summer long. All in all it was a fun time by all.
