I posted last week about the extended iBook repair program. Well today I called and it was not covered because it is not distributing those particular characteristics. So I tore the damn thing apart myself. It took about two hours and I realized there are too many screws in those things. So I go about putting it back together. Well now I do not remember where they all go. I go to the other room and finally find the service manual. Luckily they have a screw reference in there. So I put it all back together, and magically it appears to be fixed. I thought all along it was just a loose cable. Now we will wait and see.
