AOL Testing Next Generation AIM Client | BetaNews. AOL will soon replace AIM with a new integrated messaging client. This is going to be interesting to see if they will continue to support the older clients and what this means for iChat.

French court bans DVD DRM | The Register. This could turn out to be an interesting case. If this holds up then DVDs would have to be sold in France with no DRM which would be a huge win for fair use.

I just watched Nova on PBS. I think it was the best TV show I have ever seen. There was a brilliant part on Stem Cell research and the wonderful possibilities that we could all see from this new science. NASA Starts Planning to Retire Space Shuttle | NYT. Well, we have known for a while that the Shuttle is getting long in the tooth. Hopefully they will generate a good design for a real spacecraft to carry people and then launch items with unmanned ships. This is the best and safest option in my opinion.
