Law Enforcement Appliance Subverts SSL | Gizmodo. Interesting story on law enforcement using a man in the middle attack. This is not something that is really that hard to do. The most shocking part of this story is that law enforcement may be getting SSL companies to give them fake certificates. This could really put SSL in jeopardy as a secure transfer protocol.
