On-time graduation rate is defined as the percent of students from a class who graduated with the Doctor of Pharmacy degree within four years of entering the program. NAPLEX Pass Rates
After graduating from an accredited school of pharmacy, graduates must pass the North American Pharmacist Licensure Exam (NAPLEX) as well as a law exam for the state that they wish to become registered as a pharmacist. The table below includes the NAPLEX pass rates for SIUE School of Pharmacy graduates as well as the state and national pass rates.

ImPaCT Project
From 2009-2019 all SIUE School of Pharmacy students were required to complete a capstone project during their final year of pharmacy school. The capstone project requires students to pull together knowledge gained throughout the program to either create a business plan or to develop and execute a research project. In 2020, capstone became ImPaCT (Improving Patient Care for Tomorrow). The ImPaCT project is a scholarly project where students utilize their didactic knowledge in working through a real world problem to enhance patient care. Students will identify a problem in pharmacy and identify potential solutions in an academic and objective manner. Students’ projects are graded and are classified as exceeding expectations, meeting expectations or not meeting expectations. The following table describes the number (%) of students in each category and the number (%) of ImPaCT projects that were selected for publication or presentation at national, regional, or local venues.
