Campus Power Update: Restoration of Normal Electrical Service on July 25, 2026 On July 23, 2026, a damaged transformer caused power disruptions to several campus facilities. We are pleased to report that the transformer has been repaired. Facilities Management personnel will begin transferring affected buildings and areas back to their normal electrical circuits on Saturday, July 25, 2026, beginning at 7:00 a.m. The work is expected to be completed by approximately 1:00 p.m. Please note: The Religious Center (Fuller Dome) was successfully reconnected to its normal electrical circuit and will not be affected by the work outlined below. The anticipated transfer schedule is as follows: · Lovejoy Library – 7:00 a.m. · Peck Hall – 7:30 a.m. · Founders Hall – 8:00 a.m. · Science West – 8:30 a.m. · Evergreen Hall – 9:00 a.m. · Woodland Hall – 10:00 a.m. · Cougar Village (500 Side) – 10:30 a.m. · Birger Hall – 11:00 a.m. · Supporting Services – 11:30 a.m. · Fire Station / Water Tower – 12:30 p.m. · Heating & Refrigeration (H&R) Plant – 1:00 p.m. Brief power interruptions are expected during the transfer process for all affected facilities. However, Cougar Village (500 Side) is expected to experience an approximately one-hour power outage while the circuit transfer is completed. Facilities Management appreciates your patience and cooperation as we complete this work and restore all facilities to their normal electrical service configuration. If adjustments to the schedule become necessary, additional communication will be provided.
