Qualifications

Must be in process of applying to, or be admitted to, the Master of Geography graduate program. Only students admitted to the Geography graduate program are eligible for an assistantship in the Department of Geography and GIS. Preferred qualifications include being a full-time student, possess strong written and verbal communication skills, and strong undergraduate achievement in geography or geography-related coursework.

Position Description

Graduate Teaching Assistants will be assigned as needed by Geography and GIS faculty. Tasks may include supporting undergraduate instruction and retention, monitoring the computer lab, assisting faculty with program goals and other duties as assigned.
