Pre-Collegiate Campus Visit
SIUE Pre-collegiate students from Collinsville High School visited campus for the first time since the onset of COVID-19. The students enjoyed tours around campus, freshman housing, Center Court, the School of Business and School of Engineering.
High School Speaker Series
The High School Speaker Series is a program that provides students grades 9 - 12 with early exposure to college. Students have the opportunity to speak with SIUE faculty, staff and students and learn important information on preparing for college.
Attention high school students! Did you know the classes you take and activities you do while in high school can help prepare you for college and beyond? During the fall High School Speaker Series, students can explore different academic majors and learn about career pathways from SIUE faculty and staff. This informative speaker series was created especially for YOU to help prepare you for your academic studies and future career goals!
Fall Series - Academic Majors and Career Pathways
Spring Series - College, Beyond the Classroom: Get Involved, Gain Practical Skills and Network!
Students, did you know you can successfully balance school, work, and social activities while in college? The focus of the spring Speaker Series is student engagement. SIUE student leaders participant in daily student panels where they share their personal journeys of how they navigate college and supplement their classroom instruction with extracurricular and co-curricular activities. They also discuss how being actively involved in various activities help them socially, academically, and professionally.
Note: The March 2022 spring Speaker Series will be presented as the Charter Midday Speaker Series, a special collaboration with SIUE East St. Louis Charter High School.
