Exit Essay
The exit essay is to have students reflect upon their time in the program and to share how the learning outcomes have applied to everything they have accomplished, including their academic coursework, as an undergraduate student. The exit essay will address the following:
- How have you have been able demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills throughout your academic career? How will you continue to do so after you receive your degree? Please provide specific examples.
- How have you been able to demonstrate your ability to analyze and integrate knowledge through critical thinking in order to effectively solve problems or answer questions throughout your academic career? How will you continue to do so after you receive your degree? Please provide specific examples.
- How have you been able to demonstrate an understanding of the value and contributions of human diversity throughout your academic career? How will you continue to do so after you receive your degree? Please provide specific examples.
- How do you believe your academic journey has aligned with your personal and professional goals? How will you use what you have learned beyond your academic career?
