New name and logo for Religious Center
THE RELIGIOUS CENTER HAS A NEW NAME!

The Center for Spirituality & Sustainability at SIUE is home for the campus ministries of several religious denominations who are dedicated to keeping religious faith and experience in dialogue with higher education.  The center is also working to bring "green" practices into the building and educational programs about sustainability to the SIUE campus and local communities. 

The Center for Spirituality & Sustainability is located on the campus of Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, in the building with the geodesic dome next to visitor's parking lot B. The Center's dome was designed by R. Buckminister Fuller who was the original architect of the geodesic dome and the building was designed by internationally known architect, Shoji Sadao.  The center was designated as an Edwardsville Local Landmark by the Historic Preservation Commission and City Council of Edwardsville, IL in August of 2008.

The center is available to people of all faiths for:  Prayer - Worship - Spiritual Discussions - Educational Events - Student Organizations and Volunteer Service - Individual Counseling, - Weddings - Memorial Services -  Day Retreats and Meetings.
