Student Services and Support
Technical Help
Online and phone support for Blackboard and other technical and instructional needs is available through Information Technology Services (ITS) 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days per year, including holidays and when the University is closed. For technical support, contact ITS at 618-650-5500. For on-demand Blackboard resources and tutorials, visit the Blackboard Help site or ITS Knowledge Base.
Tutoring
Online tutoring for select courses is available through the Tutoring Resource Center. If tutoring is available for your course, information on assigned tutors, available dates/times, and method of contact will be included in your course syllabus or course help module.
Library Services
The SIUE Lovejoy Library features an extensive collection of books and journals as well as access to leading academic and business databases. SIUE online students can access its collections from anywhere in the world.
Accessible Campus Community and Equitable Student Support (ACCESS)
If you are requesting academic accommodations and are not yet approved for accommodations, you will need to submit the necessary application forms and documentation for review and determination of accommodations. Contact ACCESS at 618-650-3726 or myaccess@siue.edu. Students should register with ACCESS as soon as possible after being accepted to the University.
For winter session, please submit requests at least three working days prior to the start of winter session to ensure reasonable time for approval and to arrange accommodations with the online instructor. ACCESS is closed when the University is closed.
