Meet the Team

Our advisors are professional academic advisors whose main goal is to support your success. They will help you create a program of study that fits your goals and interests, monitor your academic progress, and provide guidance and resources throughout your academic journey! Choosing a program and degree is an important decision, and meeting with an advisor early can help you make the most of your time at SIUE.

Students are required to meet with their advisor each semester to:

• Explore majors, minors, and career path
• Ask questions about their academic program or goals
• Discuss challenges and receive early support and referrals
• Navigate personal or academic concerns that may affect success
• Plan next steps, remove your advising hold, and register for the correct courses

Our team is here to ensure you have the guidance and support you need to succeed academically, socially, and personally at SIUE.
