James DelVecchio
Graduate Assistant, Community Engagement
Jimmy is from Belleville, Illinois and received his Bachelor’s degree from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville in Applied Communication Studies in 2021. He is now pursuing his Master’s degree in College Student Personnel Administration. During his undergraduate career, Jimmy held numerous positions in his fraternity, Sigma Tau Gamma, and served as an officer on the Interfraternity Council Executive Board. He also worked as a New Student Orientation Leader, along with working as an Office Assistant in the SIUE Art and Design office. These experiences have allowed him to see the value of impactful college student endeavors and inspired him to pursue a career in student affairs. In his free time, Jimmy enjoys reading fantasy novels and spending quality time with his family and friends.
