DRP Awardee - Dr. Jason Stacy

The Graduate School is pleased to announce that Dr. Jason Stacy, Professor of Historical Studies, is being promoted to the rank of Distinguished Research Professor.
A committee of research faculty unanimously recommended Dr. Stacy for promotion based on his sustained scholarly activity since promotion to Professor, his significant achievements in his field, and recognition by his peers. They noted that his work exemplifies high standards of scholarship and innovation. At the same time, he is a public intellectual, whose contributions reach large and diverse audiences. His scholarship engages issues of significance for both U.S. and world citizens regarding the ways that persons might experience, and differently construct, views of U.S. culture in history, the present, and the future. He is forging new and fruitful methodologies in history, historiography, and literary studies, and his methodological innovations have advanced the field of digital scholarship.
