Welcome to the Department of Accounting
The Department of Accounting in the SIUE School of Business offers students a quality education at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. SIUE accounting faculty are highly professional and committed to preparing students for entry into a professional career in accounting in either the private or public sector. Students receive an educational foundation upon which they can grow professionally in the practice and study of accounting as they progress throughout their careers.
The School’s accounting programs are accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate School of Business (AACSB) International. Of the five percent of business schools worldwide to be accredited by AACSB, less than 25 percent also hold the accounting accreditation. This accreditation is recognized as the benchmark for business school quality and is testament to the excellent academic experience we offer our students.
