SIUE Anthropology Alum publishes research
Posted November 26, 2018
Recent SIUE Anthropology alumnus Jake Sebok (class of 2018) is perhaps best remembered for his amazing senior project on the impact of Spanish colonialism on ethnic diversity in central Mexico (read all about it in our Facebook page post from April 16). Even more amazing, Jake’s research for a completely different project is going to be published in the peer-reviewed journal Language Documentation and Conservation. While he was doing his Aztec research, Jake was also working as a research assistant to Dr. Kristine Hildebrandt in the English Department, who wanted to record memories and stories from an earthquake that hit Nepal a few years back. You can read all about Jake’s work in this article, which appeared recently in This Month in CAS.
Congratulations, Jake! You have made us proud – again!
