Honors Day Convocation, an annual celebration hosted by the College of Arts and Sciences to honor the great achievements of our amazing students, was held in-person this year on Sunday, April 10, 2022 in the Meridian Ballroom. SIUE Alumna Jackson Earns Competitive National Award from Anthropology Honor Society

Southern Illinois University Edwardsville alumna Sacha Jackson of, Edwardsville, who earned a bachelor’s in anthropology, French and psychology in May 2020, achieved third place in the Lambda Alpha Senior Scholarship Award competition of the Lambda Alpha National Anthropology Honor Society – a first for a student in the College of Arts and Sciences’ Department of Anthropology.

Dr. Corey Ragsdale is an Expert in Anthropology!

Earlier this month it was announced that Dr. Corey Ragsdale was selected for a three-year term as an expert in Anthropology for the Coalition for Archaeological Synthesis (CfAS) committee on human migration.
