Goal 3

Demonstrates skills with various media and other tools typically used in the development and deployment of learning and/or performance improvement technologies.

Various types of media are necessary when implementing technology into the classroom. Some of the media I have used are PowerPoint, Excel, Word, KidZone, FrontPage, ActivInspire, MovieMaker, Audacity, Paint, and more. I have used PowerPoint to describe a trip around the United States. I have also used it in another project to describe the Neolithic Period. As the use of technology continues to grow in the classroom, teachers continually use different types of media. The students evaluate lessons as well as units. This enables the teacher to revise the lessons as needed. Different tools used in technology are described below with the unit attached.
