A Smooth Transition
A Welcome Leader is a returning student who is dedicated to helping you have a smooth transition to life at SIUE. Welcome Leaders help facilitate our programs and will attend events with incoming students. They will show you around campus, answer your questions, help you connect with other new and returning students, and give you an idea of what life looks like as a student.
All new students are assigned a Welcome Leader after they enroll in classes. Keep an eye on your email in mid August for more information about your Welcome Leader.
