Danielle Hall (she/her) is a St. Louis native back in the Midwest after 9 years in the San Francisco Bay Area, where she worked in the nonprofit arts sector, serving the Bay Area cultural arts community and supporting local dance companies and festivals, including the de Young Museum, World Arts West (producers of the San Francisco Ethnic Dance Festival), and AfroUrban Society. She joined SIUE in August 2023 as a Success Coach in the office of Student Opportunities for Academic Results (SOAR) and is growing her campus involvement through committees and service, including serving as Advisor to the W.E.E. Chapter of the National Association of Colored Women’s Clubs (NACWC) here on campus. Danielle earned her B.S. degree in Marketing from Alabama A & M University and did graduate studies here at SIUE, earning the Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Museum Studies in 2014. She is currently pursuing her Master’s in English Literature, with a focus in African American and Caribbean literature, culture and digital humanities.
A lifetime student, Danielle enjoys music, travel, dance, and movement for wellness, reading, writing, researching her family history, and spending time in nature. She is also a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. and recently celebrated 18 years on the vine!
