There currently are more than 100 SIUE students working in University Park in multiple capacities, including as interns, through co-operative programs and as research assistants. In the Park, students can enhance their education, apply what they’ve learned in the classroom and take steps to launch successful careers during their college experience or after graduation. University Park businesses give students opportunities and employ SIUE graduates.
In today’s economy, real-world experience is more important than ever to finding a job upon graduation. In University Park, students take part in a real-world business environment, making them more attractive to prospective employers and investors upon graduation.
As an extension of the University’s learning environment, University Park serves as a portal for students to gain access to entrepreneurs and experienced business professionals. These networking opportunities and valuable connections give SIUE students a leg up when it comes time to enter the workforce.
