SIUE track and field's Grant Milbrath had received Ohio Valley Conference Male Field Co-Athlete of the week for the second time ths season. He previously won the award Jan. 14 after his performance at the Alexis Jarrett Invitational. 

Milbrath led SIUE track and field in day one of the Russ Jewett Indoor Gorilla Classic (Feb. 13). He finished first out of 41 competitors at 20.81m (63-3).

Kiyoko Proctor has received Ohio Valley Conference freshman of the week honors for the second time this season.

Proctor paced SIUE offensively over the two-game homestand, averaging 15.0 points per game. She scored 18 points against Southeast Missouri and followed with 12 against UT Martin, finishing the stretch with 30 total points. Proctor knocked down three three-pointers, dished out nine assists, and was active defensively with seven steals.

SIUE junior guard Tyler King (St. Louis) has been named the Ohio Valley Conference men's basketball Player and Newcomer of the Week after leading SIUE to a pair of wins this past week.

King led the Cougars with a strong offensive week. He knocked down 50 percent of his shots and averaged 20.5 points in wins over Lindenwood and Little Rock. He scored 22 points Tuesday to lead the Cougars at Lindenwood. He followed that with 19 points in a road win at Little Rock Saturday.
