About Fraternity and Sorority Life
SIUE's Fraternity and Sorority Community is home to 21 fraternities and sororities. These organizations are governed by student-led executive boards called governing councils. At SIUE, we have four governing councils that provide governance, accountability, educational opportunities, and structure for our chapters: the Interfraternity Council (IFC), National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC), Panhellenic Council (PHC), and United Greek Council (UGC).
Mission, Vision, and Values
Fraternities and sororities at SIUE are a great place for students to embrace the University’s core values of citizenship, excellence, inclusion, integrity and wisdom. The SIUE Fraternity and Sorority Community has been offering a premier leadership development experience since 1961 with organizations who are committed to living up to the values of the institution and their organization.
