Dawn is an LCSW with 15 years’ experience and Staff Counselor. Dawn’s style of therapy is relaxed, warm, and conversational. Her interventions are fluid and determined by the need of the student at the time and how they process information, feedback, and initiate change. Dawn’s areas of clinical focus are grief, any life transition where there is grief and an examination/reroute of identity and assumptions, addiction, and family of origin trauma. Dawn’s work is informed by Psychosocial Theory, Systems Theory, and Mindfulness Based Cognitive Theory.Dawn grew up in the St. Louis Metropolitan area, though she loves to travel any chance she gets. Otherwise, find her thrifting, attending youth sports, or finding great food.
