"Sustainable Development Activities in St. Louis aka Currents 2011"
The purpose of the proposed Urban Research Scholar research is to develop a working plan for publication of the 2011 edition of the IUR book publication, focused on sustainable development in the St. Louis area. Key components to this effort are
- Identification of the thematic areas to target
- A set of individuals from several disciplines to contribute to the publication
The content proposed for this edition will focus on the regional issues, activities and resources related to sustainable development in the St. Louis area. The publication is intended to identify best practices and to summarize successes, failures and hopes for meeting the St. Louis region's current needs without sacrificing its future needs. The deliverable from this research is a working plan consisting of a central theme, a summary of each component of the publication, and a list of invited contributors for each section with their invited content.
