 Infrastructure includes all of the services typically included in the department of public works (i.e.).  How well a city designs it's streets, utilities, parking, green spaces, so on and so fourth can help in the economic development of the city.  there are two aspects of Infrastructure that make the topic vitally important.  These aspects are related to a cities ability to support new development given the current conditions of the infrastructure and if not, who pays for the improvement?  The city or the new business.

The following is a list of some of the most important infrastructure web sites in our metropolitan region.

Missouri sewer district (MSD)
This is the MSD's web site.  MSD is responsible for the city of St. Louis' sewage treatment and rain water control in a combined system.

bi-state development agency
This is the two state transportation agency in charge of public transportation (bus, metro-link)

Sierra club-transportation
Once again the Sierra Club.  This portion of their web site deals specifically with the effects of urban transportation on the environment.

carfree.com
This organization is concerned with developing solution to urban traffic and subsequent pollution by creating walking cities.
