ITS has been providing online resources that allow working from home to be much easier.
ITS had many of these tools in place long before the pandemic hit. So the foundation for working from home was already in place.
Thank goodness.

eSports at SIUE

SIUE ESports (short for "Electronic Sports") officially began at SIUE in 2013, and in January of this year a brand new ESports Club & Gaming Arena opened in Bluff Hall.
The new Esports Arena is home to 12 high-end gaming computers, 2 TV’s to which students can attach their own systems, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 graphics cards and Intel Core i5-8400 processors. Name Change for TechSmith Relay Coming Soon

ITS has been informed by the vendor of a name change coming for TechSmith Relay. June 16 is the planned date for TechSmith Relay to become TechSmith Knowmia. The switch in name better represents the product and its features. There will no change in the user interface, and all current video links will remain the same. There's a new browser in town...meet Microsoft's new Edge Chromium browser. Unlike previous Microsoft browsers (*cough* Internet Explorer *cough*), this one is actually worth checking out. Built on the open-source browser project Chromium, same as Google's Chrome browser, the new Microsoft Edge browser is incredibly fast and lightweight.
