Employee of the Month
April 2024 Employee of the Month - Cade Miller
Congratulations to our April Employee of the Month, Cade Miller!
Cade began working with the Campus Recreation as a fitness attendant in the Fall of 2023. In the short time that he has been a part of our team, Cade has been an incredible asset to our team. He is majoring in exercise science with an anticipated graduation date of May 2025. After graduating, he would like to coach athletes and provide teaching about the nuances of exercise, ideally in a director role.
Cade is always quick to help out his fellow employees and patrons alike. He has never met a stranger and constantly provides a welcoming presence in our fitness spaces. During times of stress, Cade does a fantastic job remaining calm and has continually risen to the occasion by holding his composure and remaining professional.
In his free time, Cade enjoys working out and playing video games. His favorite exercise is incline bench press, so you’re likely to find him in the weight room! He is also a part of the Exercise Science Club and Boxing Club at SIUE. When asked why he enjoys working for Campus Rec, he stated that he enjoys meeting new people and having interesting conversations. Finally, he tries to live his life by the saying, “Live to improve, not to impress.”
Cade is truly a wonderful employee with a positive attitude and makes SIUE Campus Recreation a great place to be!
