- New Membership Benefits! The Alumni Association is pleased to announce our latest membership benefit - discounted car rentals through Enterprise Rent-A-Car! Alumni Association members receive a 5% discount off Enterprise's already reduced internet rates NATIONWIDE. Enterprise Rent-A-Car joins several other Edwardsville-area businesses in offering discounts to association members including Raging Rivers WaterPark, Enterprise Car Sales, Nautilus Fitness Center, Denny's, McDonald's, 54th Street Grill & Bar, Art of the Matter, Allison's Comfort Shoes, Bev George & Associates, The Garden Kingdom, RE/MAX Preferred Partners and more! - Applications are currently being accepted for a vacancy on the SIUE Alumni Association Board of Directors. Serving as a member of the board can provide an opportunity to give back to SIUE alumni, students, faculty and staff in a very meaningful way. - The Alumni Association would like to congratulate the winners of the 2008 SIUE Alumni Association Legacy Scholarship! The winners of the full-year tuition scholarships are James Geppert (Junior at SIUE) and Kate Campbell (incoming freshman from Civic Memorial High School.) The winners of the $100 scholarships are Clifton Hake, Katie Kizzire, Jody Linzy, Ryan Stitt and Kyle Carnahan.

- The Spring 2008 edition of the eConnection is now available to be viewed online. Click here to read the latest edition of the alumni magazine. Copies of the magazine are mailed to active members of the Alumni Association.

Upcoming Projects
- The Alumni Association is working to launch our new student alumni association - STAT - Students Today, Alumni Tomorrow. The mission of the organization is to service SIUE students - present, past and future. The purpose of STAT is to encourage current students to interact with alumni before graduation through social activities and mentoring opportunities. STAT will be launched in August 2008 - check back for updated information!
