Minor in Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies
Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies (WMST) is an undergraduate interdisciplinary minor that emphasizes the study of identity and culture through women’s, nonbinary, and LGBTQIA+ experiences and perspectives. Marginalized, these voices are often omitted from traditional curricula. However, since the early 1970s, WMST has generated a plethora of scholarly inquiry into oppressive structures such as sexism, racism, homophobia, ableism, ageism, and classism across disciplines, cultures, and politics.
A minor in WMST provides valuable insight and support to any field of study and, in turn, any of your future aspirations.
