Ceremony Instructions
Congratulations on your achievement! The College of Arts and Sciences is proud of our remarkable students and looks forward to recognizing your accomplishments.
- Plan to arrive by 5:40 p.m. A reception will be held prior to the awards ceremony, and students will be seated at assigned tables by department. Award sponsors who attend will also be seated with student honorees. Students will be notified in advance if they will have an award sponsor attending.
- The evening’s event will feature substantial appetizers, beverages, and desserts.
- Students will be acknowledged by the department during the awards ceremony. A departmental group photo will be taken; students should also have their photo taken with award sponsors who attend.
- Students will receive award certificates.
- The attire for this event is professional; no jeans, shorts, t-shirts or tennis shoes. Suggested attire is a suit, dress shirt and tie, dress slacks/shirt, or dress. The Cougar Career Closet is a resource available to SIUE students in need of professional attire.
