Student Participation
All students who will participate in a Celebration of Student Excellence ceremony should receive an award letter from the chair of your academic department. This letter will be e-mailed to students from the academic department, and will contain information about their specific award or scholarship.
The College will host two separate student recognition ceremonies in 2026: one on the evening of April 7 and another on the evening of April 28. Students will be notified in their award letter which ceremony they are participating in.
Because of space limitations, only student honorees, department chairs, and award sponsors will attend.
Photos used in conjunction with the Celebration of Student Excellence may also be used in other promotions for the College of Arts and Sciences. All students need to complete the Photo Release Form.
Student scholarships and awards are also processed in the online scholarship management system. Students must complete a general application in the Award Management to receive and accept scholarships through that system.
