The new year is well underway with challenges and opportunities for SIUE Alumni and the Office of Alumni Affairs. We said goodbye to Assistant Director Katie Bennett and the search will soon begin for her replacement. We shared in the excitement as the SIUE Cougars appeared on national TV for the first time when the Men's basketball team faced nationally-ranked, Ohio Valley Conference foe Murray State. The game was played before a sold out Vadalabene Center crowd. We will also see a dramatic change in leadership on the Association Board of Directors. Eight individuals will leave the board in June, so I invite you to nominate yourself or other SIUE graduates whom you believe can help us Engage, Educate, and Empower Cougars for Life.
