Pre-Employment Testing via the Internet

An effective employee selection process helps organizations identify candidates with the skills and aptitude necessary to succeed on the job while meeting legal requirements.  To accomplish these goals, a selection process typically relies on multiple instruments or pre-employment testing instruments for accessing applicant skills.

Today numerous tests which are used as tools for selection of employees can be accessed through the Internet.  The kind of test employers might consider depends on what type of job needs filled. 

An important thing to remember about testing is that it must never be used as a way to unfairly discriminate against candidates. A host of laws prescribes how testing should and should not occur and penalties for violations are severe.
