Websites such as these allow Businesses to typically make money on a promotion, something that is almost impossible to do with traditional advertising. The three most relevant websites for this avenue are Groupon, Deal Saver, and RetailMeNot. See the following steps for getting started with these websites. Groupon

Groupon Is an American e-commerce website that links its millions of subscribers with local merchants by offering activities, travel, goods, and services.

1. Go to the Groupon site.
2. Click on the “Get Started” button in the middle of the screen.
3. Click “Local Deals” and fill in the application form.
4. After this is complete you will await a call from Groupon. This will take within 2 weeks wherein they will verify account information and discuss featuring your business. (You can also call them to expedite the process.)
5. Now determine which type of deal is right for you. They offer a variety of different deals that you can choose from.
6. The Featured Deal works as followed:
   • Consult – You will work with a representative to create a customer offer that meets your needs.
   • Plan – Create an action plan to help staff deal with the large amount of new customers.
   • Launch – Your deal will now be featured on Groupon.
   • Connect – Customers buy the deal and receive a voucher in return. Then they bring this to your business.
   • Redeem – You scan the voucher code they bring in, enter it in manually, or write it down for later for entry.
   • Payment – Most business partners get paid in thirds 33% after 7-10 days, 33% after another month, and 34% after 2 months.

dealsaver features daily deals, coupons, and discounts on the best stores, events, restaurants, food and entertainment in local areas or cities.

1. Go to the dealsaver website.
2. Click on “Get your business on dealsaver.com!” in the bottom left corner.
3. Fill in the form asking for contact and business information.
4. Once this is complete a dealsaver representative will contact you to verify information and assist you with the remainder of the process.

RetailMeNot

RetailMeNot is an American multinational company that aggregates and distributes over 500,000 coupons from over 50,000 stores in a wide variety of categories.

1. Go to the RetailMeNot website.
2. Scroll down to the very bottom of the page and under “Account” click on “Submit a Coupon”.
3. Fill in the information on the page about the coupon that you’d wish to have offered on the website.
4. Once completed click “submit offer”.
5. A representative will contact you and assist with the remainder of the process.
