Fitness Assessments
This program provides baseline measurements of flexibility, endurance, blood pressure, muscular strength, body composition, and cardiovascular fitness. Results from these tests are reviewed and can be used to create a personalized fitness plan tailored to help you achieve your health and fitness goals. A fitness assessment is also the first step to request a personal trainer.
To schedule your fitness assessment, please complete the Health History Questionnaire (pdf) and bring it to the Wellness Center. Once we receive your Health History Questionnaire, we will contact you with a time and a day for your appointment. We will need at least one week’s notice to your desired day. If you have any questions, please call (618) 650-2935.
Note: If this is a follow up assessment (within the same semester), you do NOT need to fill out another Health History Questionnaire form. In that case, please send an email to nrosale@siue.edu in order to schedule your appointment.
