Zoom is a web conferencing tool that SIUE faculty, staff, and students can use for a variety of purposes including: synchronous online meetings, lecture capture, live or recorded screen sharing, group messaging, and more.


Basic Account: All SIUE affiliates are provided a basic Zoom account that can be accessed using their SIUE credentials. Basic accounts are limited to 40-minute sessions.

Pro Account: Pro accounts are available for faculty and staff who need to record or host meetings lasting over 40 minutes. Click here to request a pro account.

  • Live meetings can be held with up to 100 participants. More attendees can be added by requesting an increase in advance of your synchronous meeting.
