A committee will be appointed to review admission appeals initiated by applicants.
Applicants who have been denied admission may request in writing that their admission file be reviewed by the Admission Appeals Committee. The written statement should include the rationale for the request.
The Admission Appeals Committee will be chaired by the Associate Director of Admissions who will be a non-voting member. Each meeting will include two faculty members and a staff member.
The pool of committee members will include one faculty member from each of the following Schools: Business, Education, Engineering and Nursing and two faculty members from the College of Arts and Sciences. The respective Dean will make the appointment. The pool of committee members will also include four staff members appointed by the Assistant Vice Chancellor for Enrollment Management. Each committee member will serve a two year term.
