My name is Samantha Steinmann. I was born and raised in the small town of Hamel, Illinois, with a population of around 811. Growing up in a place that was not so fast paced, lead to a great childhood, and has made me the person that I am today. I graduated from Edwardsville High School in 2012, and then proceeded to attend Murray State University in Kentucky. In the year that I was a Murray State Racer I "lived with purpose" as an active member of Alpha Gamma Delta sorority. I also assisted in making decisions for the dormitory that I lived in, Richmond Residential College. My freshmen year was an amazing learning experience, but being a family girl at heart, I knew home was calling. I am now a Mass Communications major at Southern Illinois University of Edwardsville. When I'm not dreaming of taking the Mass Comm. field by storm, one can find me working as a Service Desk Staff Team Leader. Like I said before, I am a family girl. At the moment I am just enjoying time with my family, enhancing my learning, and working. The future is getting closer and closer,though...
