The template for the NTeQ Lesson Plan can be found by clicking the button
to the left.
Additionally, the "Sample Unit Check" to
the left is an example of what your first Unit Check might look like.
Please don't feel like you should copy this format. It is simply an
example.
Here is what I am expecting for the first
NTeQ Unit check:
 |
Description & Purpose of Unit – Generally
describe the unit. Explain what you plan to do – even if you aren’t sure yet
how all the details will work out. |
 |
Goals and Outcomes – What do you want the
children to learn?
What do you hope to gain from developing this unit? (You don’t necessarily
need state content or technology standards at this point. If you have them,
that’s great. If not, don’t sweat it…at least not yet.) |
 |
Activities and Timeline – Include a
general timeline description. How long do you plan for your unit to be? In
what order will your two lessons be taught? What non-technology activities
are you planning to include? |
 |
Assessment – How will you assess the
students? Generally describe your plan. If you want to use a rubric, you do
not have to create the rubric for this check. It can wait until the next
check. |
 |
Lesson 1 – One mostly developed NTeQ
lesson plan should be included for this check. It does not have to be the
first lesson taught out of the unit – just the first technology integrated
lesson. |
