Salvador Orlando's family came from Siciliy which consists of a small island that sits right of the coast of Italy and is seemingly parallel to the coast of Tunisia, Africa. I was not able to find out the exact location of Salvador's family within Sicily because I could not trace them that far back, I only know that Mary and Joseph met in Sicily and came over to the States to elope in Buffalo, New York.  However, Salvador's wife and my great grandmother, Angeline Miserandino, was also from sicily, she came to the United States from a little village called Montemaggiore, Sicily which can be seen in a close up map of the island shown below.
