OPEN GYMS NOW SCHEDULED!

Open gyms have been scheduled for interested cheerleaders and dancers for Sunday, February 24, 2013, and Saturday, March 23, 2013. The open gym is scheduled from
12-3:00 PM. We invite all prospective cheerleaders and dancers to meet our teams, show off your skills, and see what cheer and dance is like at SIUE! Cheerleaders will meet in the Vadalabene Center in the Group Activities Room (room #1205); dancers will meet in the Vadalabene Center in the Instructional Gym. SIUE cheerleaders and dancers will meet you at the front door of the main gym to help you find the rooms!

What to expect for cheer: The SIUE cheerleaders will work with you on tumbling and stunting as well as teach you our Fight Song. For dance: The SIUE dance team
will work with you on dance technique, teach a sideline or two, and
teach a short dance exemplifying our style.

If you are interested in attending either the cheer OR dance open gym, please register by contacting Coach Deets at mdeets@highlandcusd5.org by February 20 for the
