My Team

When I first came to college I realized that I would not have a choice, my teammates would be my friends. After many many hours or conditiong sessions, lifting weights, grueling practices, and long roadtrips I realize that I would not change a thing. Yes, they drive me absolutely crazy sometimes but they are my teammates and I love them.

We have been through a lot of hard times since I came here in the Fall of 2010. My freshman season was the first time we played a truly Division I schedule and competed in postseason in the Ohio Valley Conference Tournament. Although we didn't do as well as expected, it was a good showing for our team and program. This was the first time I had to say goodbye to some of my teammates that were seniors. I remember crying thinking that we would never get to goof around in the clubhouse again or stand in the dugout and cheer on our teammates together. This past year even more seniors graduated and more will graduate this year. I cannot believe that I will be a senior in just a few short weeks.
