About me

A true life story

My name is Jackson Berliner and I was born December 15th, 1998. I was raised in North County, St. Louis, specifically Florissant. Growing up I have always been a fan of TV and movies. I always put in effort to learn different actors and actresses’ names over time, because I was impressed by people like my dad who seemed to know the name and back story to every famous person on TV. It wasn’t until I hit 6th or 7th grade that I met my one true love, standup comedy. I have been following standup since Comedy Central Presents was still airing new episodes, and I try to go to live shows as much as possible.

As of now, I am a mass communications major. I was a business administration major, but I failed out of most of those classes and was told I could no longer attend SIUE, and I was stripped of my scholarship and financial aid money. I had never failed a class until I came to college, so I wasn’t necessarily sure how to deal with the situation. I decided the only thing to do was fill out the appeal sheet, but it only game me three small lines to explain myself. I really didn’t want to get kicked out of school, so I took it upon myself and wrote a few letters to some different departments and eventually was re enrolled and awarded all my financial aid and scholarship money back. The only stipulation was that I pick a new major, and mass communications seemed interesting enough.
