Borrowing From Other Libraries

If the Lovejoy Library does not have the item that you are looking for, it may be possible to have that item sent from another university library using a service called interlibrary loan.

There are two ways to request book:

I-Share: This is the statewide Illinois catalog for academic libraries and the easiest and quickest way to retrieve an item we don't have. Begin your search here.

ILLIAD: This is a world-wide catalog and will allow you to make requests from around the world. ILLIAD should only be used as a last resort. Items requested through ILLIAD can take substantially longer to arrive, sometimes up to weeks. Check for the item in I-Share first.
