I am a senior at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. I grew up in Litchfiled, IL, a small, corn-fed town of roughly 7,000 people. I plan on going to graduate school to further my education in health adminstration. I live everyday to the fullest, because you never know exactly where life is going to take you.

FAMILY: I am very blessed to have the family that I have been given. They have all been very supportive in the decisons I have made throughout my life. My mother taught me to never give up, no matter what obstables are thrown my direction. My father passed away from cancer in 2009, but he taught me to always have courage, and to not walk away from something just because it may be a struggle. My sister is two years younger than I, and she is always there to listen, and to share a laugh with. Not only am I close to my immediate family, but to my extended family as well. They are all very important to me, and we are all very close.

ALPHA PHI: I am a member of the Alpha Phi Epsilon Xi chapter at SIUE. Alpha Phi has helped me grow as an individual, and has opened me up to so many oppurtunies. I have found my best friends here, and I don't know what I would do without this wonderful group of girls.
