Founded in 1957, Southern Illinois University Edwardsville (SIUE) is a premier public institution dedicated to doctoral research, professional education, and community enrichment. Situated on 2,660 acres of scenic woodland overlooking the Mississippi River bluffs, SIUE is a dynamic academic community just 25 minutes from the heart of downtown St. Louis.

About University Park at SIUE
University Park at SIUE is a premiere 330-acre mixed-use technology and business park located on the campus of Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. Designed as a collaborative environment to blend academia and industry. University Park empowers businesses, researchers, and entrepreneurs to innovate, grow, and succeed.
Since its inception in 1990, University Park has been rooted in a mission to strengthen economic development, research, and cultivate talent. Strategically positioned just minutes from the St. Louis metropolitan area, its suburban setting combines accessibility with a strong connection to SIUE’s student community and institutional resources.
More than $3.9 million has been invested in University Park by the state of Illinois for the creation of concrete roads and the installation of utilities capable of supporting more than one million square feet of building space. Approximately 155 acres are fully improved, with street lighting, entry signage, landscaping and buried utilities at the lot line.
The property is carefully covenanted to protect property values. Land is available on a long-term lease basis, so that companies can retain more capital for core businesses.
