SIUE Jazz Camp
The SIUE Summer Jazz Camp is available for students of all experience levels entering grades 8-12.
Campers will learn performance and improvisation techniques from faculty members in the SIUE jazz department.
- Students will work on mastering the fundamentals of jazz improvisation with some of the areas top performers and educators through combo rehearsals, master classes, and jam sessions.
- To close out the week, the students will perform a concert for friends and family on June 23 at 6 p.m.
Ages/Grade Levels: Students entering grades 8-12
When: Tuesday-Friday, June 20-23, 9:30 a.m.-3:45 p.m. each day (end of camp concert, 6 p.m., Friday, June 23)
